The Anonymous Panel™
Winners are chosen by an anonymous panel of dedicated football supporters. We don’t publish names. We do publish the rules (because that’s funnier and fairer).
Ceremony: The No Bel Soccer Prize ceremony starts at July 20, 2026 00:00 (New York time).
Who can win
- On‑pitch performance: goals, assists, saves, leadership, tactical genius, clutch performances.
- Off‑pitch performance: sportsmanship, community impact, iconic interviews, wholesome moments, “football heritage” behavior.
- Vibes: yes, vibes. But we explain them, with reasons.
How the panel decides
- Nomination window People submit candidates.
- Shortlist: the panel filters out duplicates, obvious trolling
- Scoring: the panel uses the rubric below.
- Final pick: debate, snack break, then pick a winner.

| Iconic factor | Did it instantly become “a thing”? | 0–25 |
| Sportsmanship / impact | Respect, leadership, or positive influence. | 0–25 |
| Joy / comedy / humanity | Did it make the world a little better (or funnier)? | 0–20 |
Panel rules (so it stays fair)
- Panel members must recuse themselves from voting if they have a direct conflict.
- The panel documents the top reasons for the winner in plain language.
- We keep it civil. We can be silly without being mean.
